Join us for the first performance in our 2017 "Studio5 Fine Arts Series" as we welcome ELEMENTS CONTEMPORARY BALLET.

The program will include a World Premiere by Artistic Director Mike Gosney as well as exclusive work by Princess Grace Award winner James Gregg. 

Zodiac (working title) World Premiere by Artistic Director Mike Gosney: Taking inspiration from his studies as an astrologer, Gosney utilizes atmospheric music and symphonic remixes to paint a rich, moving portrait of the spiraling "dream within a dream" that is life. Music by Halcyon Fields, David Lang, Grace Davidson, and remixes of Max Richter. The Misfortunate Beauty of Joe Danek, by guest choreographer James Gregg: Gregg, a 2016 Princess Grace Choreography Fellow, creates a touching pastoral to music by Canadian folk artist Chris Garneau in which three lovers weave in and out of each other's lives. The River, by resident choreographer Joseph Caruana: In this 2012 work, songs by Ugandan musician Geoffrey Oryema provide a hypnotic undercurrent for four vignettes revealing the individual struggles humans face with inevitable change.
