The wonderfully soulful singer, Lucy Smith, is celebrating the release of her new Holiday CD, "Singing Christmas", with us in this WDCB co-sponsored event! Lucy is a Chicago-based singer, composer, bandleader and producer. Her quartet frequents the Chicago jazz scene and her musical collaborations include works for theatre, film and spoken word productions. Lucy was featured at the 2015 Chicago Jazz Festival. She is the music director for Chicago’s Fourth Presbyterian’s “Jazz at Four” service and performs often for organizations working on social and economic justice issues.
