We are happy to welcome back our old pal, Joe Policastro, with his trio celebrating the release of their newest recording, "Screen Sounds". The third album by the Joe Policastro Trio features the singular approach of the Chicago-based ensemble on a unique assemblage of music from movies and TV. Both a musical tapestry and personal soundtrack, the trio has re-purposed these selections blending each member's unique voice into a unified sound while shedding new light on these musical touchstones. For this performance at Studio5, the trio will be presenting the music in a multimedia format with experimental film and original lighting design. Click on the video links to hear samples and find out more about this innovative project.
