Curtis Mayfield, Natalie Cole, Ramsey Lewis, Jerry Butler, Donny Hathaway, Gladys Knight. Those are just some of the people Bobby Lewis has played with. Oh, and Peggy Lee. Peggy Lee! She said Bobby has  “a sound like no other. I like him best when he plays in pastels, but every note is beautiful … is loving. Bobby loves life as he loves music … and I love Bobby Lewis.” Wow. In a career of more than 7500 recording sessions and over a dozen of his own CDs, musically, Bobby Lewis has seen and heard it all. In fact, he’s played it all. And at 83 years young he is still at it, stronger than ever. It will be an honor to present Bobby and his outstanding quintet to kick off our Studio5 Fall 2019 season. Join us for an evening of outstanding music and fascinating stories from Bobby’s legendary career.
